Debriefly ("we", "us") is a pre-launch product operated by HeavyLover, 5F-508, 4 Suji-ro 342beon-gil, Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and what your choices are. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
1. What we collect on this site
- Email address — only if you join the launch-updates list. Used solely to send you Debriefly launch and progress updates.
- Preorder and payment details — payments are processed entirely by Gumroad, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. We receive your email and order status from Gumroad to deliver what you bought and to process refunds.
- Analytics events — we use PostHog to measure page views, scrolling, and button clicks, so we can tell which version of this page works.
- Advertising measurement — we use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our ads led to a visit or a preorder. Meta may set cookies for this purpose.
- Hosting and fonts — this site is served by Cloudflare and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web request, those providers technically receive your IP address in order to deliver the page.
2. What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. To anyone.
- We don't send marketing email beyond Debriefly launch updates, and every email has a working unsubscribe link.
- We don't collect anything from this site beyond what's listed above.
3. Cookies
PostHog and the Meta Pixel use cookies or similar identifiers to do their jobs described above. You can block cookies in your browser; the site keeps working without them.
4. The product itself (at launch)
When the Debriefly app launches (planned July 2026), this policy will be updated before you can use it. The commitments we are building toward:
- Audio recordings are deleted within 24 hours of transcription.
- Your content is not used to train AI models.
- You can export or delete everything you've stored, anytime.
[TO CONFIRM: third-party AI provider retention/training policies are still being verified — these commitments must be confirmed before launch and before this policy takes effect]
Speech-to-text and summarization are performed by third-party AI providers under data processing terms consistent with the commitments above; we will name the providers in the launch version of this policy.
5. How long we keep things
- Launch-list emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Order records from Gumroad: as long as required for refunds, accounting, and tax law.
- Analytics: per PostHog's standard retention; data is used in aggregate.
6. Your rights
Contact us via the channel in section 7 and we'll show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. If you're in the EU/UK or another jurisdiction with privacy rights (GDPR, CCPA, PIPA), those rights apply — same channel, no forms.
7. Contact
Email us at osh805050@gmail.com, or DM @debriefly on X.
8. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it on this page with a new date — and email the launch list if the change affects them.
